Converse, TX 78109

Our frequent trips all over the area gives us a unique eye to see all the best destinations that our travelers can't get enough of. From the best night clubs and bars, all different kinds of entertainment venues, the best wedding venues and even the restaurants that our passengers just rave about. Below we have put together a brief list of some of the most popular dining destinations in and around the city.

El Sabrosito

(210) 566-0222
9141 W Farm to Market Rd 78, Converse, TX 78109

Forget all of those fast food places claiming to serve Mexican food, we have El Sabrosito for all of our quick, convenient Mexican cravings, they even have a drive-thru! They are more or less your average Americanized Mexican restaurant, which is in no way a slam, they know their market and they deliver every time. They set themselves apart with quality, from the food, to the staff, to the atmosphere. In addition they also offer these bonuses like the aforementioned drive-thru and breakfast options. Undoubtedly El Sabrosito should be your go to for quality Mexican food in the area.

Bayseas Restaurant

(210) 659-9445
9207 Converse Business Ln, Converse, TX 78109

Granted this isn't the fanciest of restaurants, perhaps not suited for date night but it certainly is great for when you want amazing, fresh seafood in your belly. The first thing you will notice aside from the delicious aroma in the air is the mural along the wall which does a great job of sprucing up the atmosphere. The entire staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. In addition to the food being fresh and tasty, the portions are extremely generous and the prices are more than reasonable. A typical special for example will be 3 large catfish filets, 3 jumbo shrimp, friend, coleslaw and bread, all for just $8.99. Well worth it!

46th St. New York Style Pizzeria

(210) 566-1060
1813 Pat Booker Rd, Universal City, TX 78148

Many places claim to serve NY style pizza, and most fall short of those promises. Not 46th St. though, they serve up authentic East Coast pies. But it should be noted that they offer many other dishes as well, including wonderful pasta entrees, including Baked Ziti, Eggplant Parmigiana, and Penne al Pesto. The layout and atmosphere of the building itself while clean is lacking, but I'd rather a modern, simple decor of the gaudy kitsch that lines the walls of most places that are trying to insist they are authentic, that is usually a sign that the food itself doesn't prove the point. 46th St. rises to the challenge with a quiet confidence.

Silo Elevated Cuisine

(210) 824-8686
1133 Austin Hwy, San Antonio, TX 78209

For those important and intimate occasions it's nessicary to venue out to San Antonio for a special dining experience and Silo in Alamo Heights is just what you are looking for. They offer a wide ranging menu that should satisfy just about anyones tastes, even Vegans will be happy with their Vegetarain Quinoa dish, consisting of grilled portabellas, kale, heirloom cherry tomatoes, English pea tendrils, artichoke and asparagus. While red meat fans go crazy over their Beef Tenderloin, served with blue cheese ricotta gnocchi, sauteed garlic spinach and a red wine shallot reduction. This is fine dining at it's finest.
